I've been to the Dominican Republic a few times in the past couple of years and Las Terrenas is by far my favourite of all the places I've visited. I was lucky enough to stay at a wonderful villa called Casa Bella located in the gated community of Los Nomadas. The pristine beaches, crystal clear water and picturesque backdrop make it the perfect place to vacation with friends and family.
Since we travelled during peak whale season in the Dominican Republic, we were able to see these stunning creatures up close and personal on a gorgeous tour via Whales Samana led by marine biologist, Kim Beddall. I couldn't recommend the experience more, it created memories that I'll hold with me forever.
